ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES:

Part 1:
What’s the average carbon footprint of a person?

My average is 9,8 metric tons of CO2e with my family.

Part 2:
Questions:
- Hand washing dishes can use up to 50 % more of water than using an efficient dishwasher.
- Only about 10 % of global energy comes from renewables.
- True or false? Appliances that are turned off don’t use any electricity.
False,  the appliances they occupy energy while they are off, which produces a rise in consumption of energy.
-Can you make paper out of hemp?
Yes, the hemp is a good material, because that have a process of creation with few chemicals.

Part 3:

- The first, use recyclable bags, which can be made of cloth. I think is a good idea, because it is something that is available to everyone, from children to the elderly and it is a custom that is acquired with the time.

-The second, is buy food without plastic, because the plastic pollutes the planet a lot. We can decrease the plastic wrappers removing them from the fruits or giving us the time to go shopping in bulk or the fair, where they sell the products without plastic wrappers and give we the option of carrying our jars.

-And the last, a good idea is to recycle garbage, that is, divide the garbage by plastic, organic, glass and others categories, because so we can re-use different waste, giving them a new utility.
